Song Of The Day – The Best Songs Of 2024

So, to my ten favourite tunes of 2024. Same rules apply with my top ten albums of 2024, you get them in alphabetical order. Speaking of albums, most of these tunes come from my top ten albums of 2024. That’s just a byproduct of my music consumption at this time and I won’t bore you with any more detail than that. Non-YouTube and Spotify links where possible. Shout out to Bandcamp, it’s not perfect but we all know we’d be stuffed without it.

One more note, normally I wouldn’t include a diss track on this list because I think they’re cheap and this squabble isn’t as interesting or absurd as the beef to end all beefs – Tupac and Biggie Smalls. But I’m making an exception here for Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us”, in the main because it’s good and the target is Drake, who happens to be one of the biggest hacks and frauds in modern music.

So, on to 2025. Man alive. It starts with Donald Trump getting inaugurated. What could possibly go wrong? Catch you on the flip side. Once more into the breach mi amigos.
